This page presents the activities and works of the interdisciplinary Research Group "Politics and Public Health Policy ". This group participates in the Directory of Research Groups at the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), being certified by the Pro-Rectory of Research and Innovation (PRPI) of the Federal University of Goias (UFG). It is based on the Programme of Postgraduation in Political Science (PPGCP) at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FCS/UFG), and is comprised of national and internacional academics, researchers and policymakers from Brazil, UK and Spain.

The group is composed of researchers from the Federal University of Goias (UFG), University of Brasilia (UNB), Sao Paulo’s Health Secretariat Institute of Public Health, Imperial College London (UK), Westminster University (UK), as well as from Goias State Secretariat of Health (SES-GO), TelesaudeGoias (FM/UFG) and Public Health Services of Madrid (Spain). It brings together graduate students in Administration, Social Sciences and Social Sciences with Qualification in Public Policies; as well as Masters researchers in Political Science, Medicine, Human Rights and Collective Health, and PhDs researchers in Political Science and Sociology.

The Group establishes links with national and state policymakers and  local practitioners from health unities.
